The Administrative Court of Uppsala is a medium-sized administrative court with a jurisdiction covering Uppsala and Västmanland counties, as well as the municipalities of Norrtälje, Sigtuna, and Upplands Väsby. The court handles a large number of case types concerning disputes between individuals and the public sector, i.e., the state, regions, and municipalities. These include, among others, social insurance cases, tax cases, public procurement cases, cases under the Social Services Act, cases regarding legality review according to the Local Government Act, the Food Act, the Medicines Act, as well as coercive interventions against persons.
We are located in new, fresh premises near the central station in Uppsala. Approximately 60 people work here, consisting of judges, case preparers, notaries, court clerks, and administrative staff.

Job Description
As a case preparer (jurist), you work with qualified legal tasks within the case types that occur at the court. You will primarily work with coercive cases and/or social insurance cases. You work together with the court's judges to prepare cases for decision. The tasks include, among other things, conducting legal investigations, taking minutes during oral hearings, preparing cases for hearing, and drafting proposals for judgments and decisions.
As a case preparer, you play an important role in the work with cases, which requires great responsibility and that you care about the quality and efficiency of your work. You work both independently and together with others.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are notary-qualified. Experience from working at an administrative court can be an advantage.
To succeed in the role of case preparer, you need to have very good legal knowledge and very good analytical skills. You also need to have a very good ability to prioritize during work peaks. You enjoy and are good at collaborating with your colleagues at the court while having a very good ability to work independently. You are meticulous and have very good judgment.
In addition, you are flexible and service-oriented.

To be considered for the position, you must meet high demands regarding judgment, security awareness, and suitability. This means, among other things, that you stand up for democratic values and act in accordance with the state values that govern the operations of the Swedish Courts. We also require that you follow Swedish laws.
